I’ve been wondering for a while: Is this the final arc of ToF? Once the King is back in the cradle (and the Lawmaker is dead, potentially), then everything gets resolved pretty quickly?
Or maybe, we’re only halfway through the story and will see epic conflicts with the Grinner, we’ll discover what the Machine does, and maybe get more action with the Mindscapers.
Who knows? If this was a movie, I’d check how many minutes are left. But with ToF, I just have to lean back and enjoy the ride!
I personally hate spoilers, so I try to phrase this as spoiler-free as possible… This isn’t going to be the final arc of ToF! 😀
There’s still a lot going on in Fictionaria (as you mentioned yourself) and that won’t just resolve itself with… whatever is going to happen at the Battle for King’s Cradle. And we plan to resolve the shit out of this thing!
So… our current rule-of-thumb estimate (with a warehouse of salt) is that we’re going to be finished by 2025-ish. Maybe. But don’t hold us to it. We’re doing our best here. 😀
